Moyzacare is an NGO with a focus on improving and protecting the lives of vulnerable groups like orphaned and vulnerable children, the disabled, youths and women by providing education, teaching entrepreneurial and life skills to youth and empowerment.
What we do
Our current education program in Eastern Uganda involves working together with the community to help the Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC), to access quality and relevant education by uplifting educational standards and improving their nutritional and health status so that they are able to complete a full course of pre-primary and primary schooling.
The foundation wants to achieve its goal by, among other things:
- Offering (free) lunches at school to boost the health & nutrition of children;
- Provide professional teachers to guide the children and teach them in reading, writing and;
- Provide medical support to children whenever needed.
The aim is to;
- Provide an enabling environment;
- Care and protection to Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC) such that they can realize their full potential in achieving their dreams and aspirations;
- To enable individual and community development.
Build a School
Our classrooms are built using traditional materials and over the years have become dilapidated and unsecure for the children. We need your help to build a more sustainable and safe classrooms that will accommodate 150 children. The school block will cost €16.000.
You can help to build this classroom block by donating a bag of cement worth €10.
Sponsor a Child
Uganda is among the world’s poorest and least developed countries where the gap between the rich and the poor ever-widening.
The poor rural communities, especially those having the Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC), are left with no choices but to accept the low quality basic social services they can find such as education, medical health care, food, water & shelter.
We currently run a pre- primary school with a population of 110 school children whom we provide for scholastic materials, lessons in class and mid-day lunch.
How you can help:
- Every child has a right to food. You can make this possible by buying lunch for a child for €10 a month.
- Sponsor a child and help he/she become the best version for themselves for €25 a month. This fund will go towards his/her school fees, uniform, food and shoes.
Fundraise/Volunteer
Are you passionate about development work and want to make a real difference by raising money or volunteering for one of the world’s biggest challenges?
You can collect money for us by organising bake sales, completing a walking challenge, running marathons and organising events its all up to you. Whichever your idea might be, get in touch with us as we would love to hear what you have in mind and what motivates you to support us.
We'll support you throughout the process and provide you with information and any fundraising material you may need.

Our education program prioritizes girl child who make up 60% of the school population.
We provide porridge meal to our children to keep them active and motivated to come to school. The meal also is supplemented with milk to boost their nutrition.

Education is the key to transforming the lives of the children. Our school has a capacity of 110 children aged between 4 and 6 years and are taught by two qualified teacher.
